• Lightweight folding wheelchairs: an aluminium frame of roughly 11–14 kg that is easy to lift into taxis and minibuses. Ideal when a companion will fold and carry the chair many times a day.
• Transit wheelchairs: small rear wheels and a compact fold for pushing by a companion only. The narrowest option for old-town lanes, shops and crowded ferries.

If the user needs to keep a leg raised after an injury or surgery, choose a model with elevating leg rests, such as our standard wheelchair with elevating footrests. Tell us the user’s height and weight when you book and we will prepare the right seat width and footrest length.

How manual wheelchair rental in Istanbul works

1. Choose a wheelchair and enter your delivery and collection dates and times. You see the full price, including delivery, before you send the booking.
2. We confirm the booking by e-mail and agree the exact delivery time with you by phone or WhatsApp.
3. Our team brings the wheelchair to the address you gave, adjusts the footrests and shows you how to fold it and use the brakes.
4. On your last day we collect the wheelchair from the same or another address in our service area.

The rental period is counted in 24-hour days from delivery to collection, so a delivery on Monday at 10:00 and a collection on Thursday at 10:00 is three days. Most of our wheelchairs can be rented for a single day. For longer stays the daily price stays the same, with no hidden extras.

Getting around Istanbul in a manual wheelchair

Istanbul is hilly and many old streets are cobbled, so a companion who can push on slopes makes a big difference. The flat areas around Sultanahmet, the Galataport waterfront and the Bosphorus shore in Beşiktaş are the easiest to explore. Modern trams, the metro and most city ferries have step-free boarding, and the main museums offer ramps or lifts at their accessible entrances.
