Shower Chair Rental Istanbul | Toilet Chairs

A shower chair rental in Istanbul makes the bathroom at your hotel or holiday home safer. Many hotel bathrooms have walk-in showers or bathtubs without grab bars, and a wet floor is one of the most common places for a fall. We deliver shower and toilet aids to your address, set them up for the user and collect them at the end of your stay.

Bathroom aids you can rent

• Shower chairs and stools: a seat with rubber-tipped, height-adjustable legs, with or without a backrest and armrests, so the user can sit while washing.
• Bath boards and transfer benches: a seat that sits across or over the edge of the bathtub, so the user can sit down outside the tub and slide across.
• Commode and toilet chairs: a chair with a removable bucket that can be used by the bed at night, or placed over the toilet as a raised seat with armrests.
• Shower commode chairs: waterproof chairs on castors that can be wheeled into a level-access shower and over the toilet.

Choosing the right shower chair

The right chair depends on the bathroom. For a walk-in shower, a shower chair with a backrest and armrests is the most comfortable. For a bathtub, a bath board or transfer bench is safer than trying to step in. Send us a photo of the bathroom on WhatsApp if you are unsure, and we will recommend an option. Most bathroom aids carry users of about 110–135 kg, depending on the model.

For users who need help getting to the toilet at night, a commode chair by the bed can prevent falls in a dark, unfamiliar room. Combine it with a walker or rollator for safer movement around the room.

How shower chair rental in Istanbul works

1. Choose the equipment, your delivery and collection dates and times, and the address. The full price is shown before you book.
2. We confirm by e-mail and agree the delivery time with you.
3. We deliver, set the seat height for the user and place the chair safely in the bathroom.
4. We collect it at the end of your rental from any address in our delivery areas.

Rentals are counted in 24-hour days, with no deposit. You pay in cash on delivery or by bank transfer. Availability of bathroom aids varies, so if you do not see what you need, contact us and we will check for you.

Hygiene comes first

Bathroom equipment is cleaned and disinfected after every rental and checked for damage before it leaves our depot. Seats, legs, rubber tips and buckets are inspected, and worn parts are replaced. We deliver each item clean and ready to use, and you do not need to clean it before collection beyond normal everyday use.

Safer travel for older visitors and after surgery

A shower chair rental in Istanbul is especially useful for older travellers, for visitors recovering from hip, knee or back surgery, and for anyone with balance problems. Many customers combine it with a manual wheelchair for sightseeing, so all equipment arrives in one delivery and is collected together. Ask your hotel too: some offer accessible rooms with roll-in showers and grab bars, which work well with a shower chair.

Tips for a safer bathroom

• Place a non-slip mat outside the shower and dry the floor after use.
• Check the water temperature with your hand before the user sits under the shower.
• Keep soap, shampoo and a towel within reach of the seat so the user does not need to stand up.
• Leave a small light on at night if a commode chair is used beside the bed.

With these simple steps and the right seat, a shower chair rental in Istanbul lets the user wash independently and safely, with less effort for the companion.
