Its pneumatic rear tyres absorb bumps better than solid tyres, which is a real advantage on Istanbul’s paving stones and tram tracks, and the breathable mesh seat stays comfortable in warm weather. The seat adjusts from 38 to 46 cm wide and 40 to 45 cm deep.

Who is the DY01101 foldable electric wheelchair for?
Choose it when comfort and stability matter more than low weight: for example for a user who will drive the chair most of the day, for a longer stay with family, or for recovery after treatment. The whole chair weighs about 45 kg. It folds, and the folding backrest and removable battery pack make it more compact, but lifting it into a car still needs two people and a large boot. It is best suited to stays where you mainly drive from your hotel or home. My wife and I were in Istanbul for Aston Villa’s Europa final against Freiburg. My wife’s electric wheelchair failed on the day of the final and we could not go anywhere because all the roads were closed and it was raining and very steep cobbled streets. We contacted Motion4rent who put us in touch with Istanbul Wheelchair Rental /MOOR Tekerlekli Sandalye. They tried to deliver straight away but the roads were closed. I walked to the shop and was able to collect the electric wheelchair. The price was good and despite a lot of rain, we were finally able to get to the game and celebrate the win! The shop had lots of great items for sale and rent and we would highly recommend if you need mobility equipment when Istanbul.
