Why choose a foldable electric wheelchair with lithium battery?
Lithium batteries are much lighter than older gel batteries, so the whole chair is easy to fold and lift. In Istanbul that means you can drive along the Sultanahmet squares or the Galataport promenade, fold the chair for a taxi up the hill to Galata, and continue on your own at the top. The manufacturer lists the battery as suitable for air travel, but our rental chairs are for use within Istanbul.
If the user is taller or heavier, the large folding lithium wheelchair has a wider seat. If nobody can lift the chair, the auto-foldable model folds itself.
